Kyabra Beef Production

Pure Brasilian Gyr Stud

The Gyrs are the milk machines of the Beef business; they are very docile, hardy and produce small calves at birth.

We use the Gyr bulls over pure Angus heifers and cows to produce F1 commercial breeders. These are the base of our composite commercial herd

Red Brahman Stud

Our Red Brahmans are fast maturing and very Beefy.  With excellent foraging and walking ability they exhibit great hardiness in tough times

We have a large demand for our unique bloodlines which adapt quickly to a vast range of seasonal conditions

Commercial Angus herd

These cows have been bred using the best Angus genetics we can source. Our leading Angus sire is number 1 in the breed on the Northern index. He is also number 1 on 600 day weight and number 5 on Supermarket in 2005.

Charolais Bulls

We use Charolais bulls as our terminal sire over the F1 females. The Charolais are the Meat machines of the beef business
